Batrep: Exterminatus – Tau vs. Imperial Navy – Part 1

Hi guys,

Another BFG batrep here, between the Imperial Navy and the Tau. We are playing the Exterminatus scenario from the rulebook, with the Imperials defending and the Tau attacking.

My fleet @ 1405pts:

Admiral (Ld8) w/ 2 x RR

Emperor w/ Sharks

Dominator x 2

Gothic

Lunar

Dauntless w/ Lances

Enforcer

I had decided to try out the Emperor again in this game, although I am not so sure how good it is against Tau, and had taken the Dauntless and Enforcer again to try and bulk up numbers.

Imperial Deployment 1: Lunar and Dominator on the left, Emperor and Dominator on the right

In the Imperial turn they attempt to LO with their Nova Cannons, but fail. Some fire goes towards knocking the torpedoes down, and the Nova Cannons knock down two shields on the Tau Protectors. In the Ordnance Phase the Tau torpedoes knock 2 DC off the Lunar
