A buddy of mine, Mike, has recently been talking about getting back into BFG with a new Tau Fleet. So to help convert him to the dark side (space is black right?), I played a couple of intro-games with him at my flat at the weekend. Typically, I think he won both….
The Imperial Fleet, a Gothic and a Dominator deploy close together in defence of the planet
The Chaos Fleet, a Slaughter and a Murder, sweep into the system
The Imperial fleet stays together, attempting to both engage the Murder, while the Chaos ships use thier speed
The Gothic swings round the asteroid belt and opens fire on the Murder
The Imperial Fleet swings a sharp left – catching the Murder with both broadsides. – and causing 3 points of damage
The Murder speeds off – causing damage on the prow-on Imperials.
The Gothic does a sharp turn trying to bracket the Murder between the Dominator and itself.
With the Murder destroying the Dominator, before being destroyed by the Gothic, a long stern-chase erupts around the planet
With the Slaughter crippling the Gothic, the planet was left open to the predations of Chaos – Victory to the Dark Gods!
